Freakishly good copywriting tips that sell
I got sick last week and I’m still under the weather, so today I’m gonna get right to the point.
How do you write copy that sells… without feeling like you’re succumbing to the skeezy marketing tactics that rub you the wrong way?
Let’s face it, selling is a part of life. Even if you aren’t selling a product or service, if you’re a thought leader (or striving to be), you are at least selling people on your ideas, and encouraging others to “buy into” them.
And if you ARE trying to market a product or service, then sales definitely matter. You can’t run or lead a business without them.
Yet I know many folks have an “it’s complicated” type of relationship with sales and marketing.
Copywriting in particular can bring up a lot of questions and concerns. For one thing, copywriting isn’t easy. It’s a special skill! But it’s also a skill that can be misused.
And if you’re a caring, values-oriented person who wants to remain authentic and connected to your audience, you might be hesitant to use traditional copywriting tactics to influence them.
That’s why I wanted to have my latest guest, Zak Columber, on my podcast.
Zak Columber helps online business owners earn more revenue through systematic customer research, well-crafted direct response copywriting, and authentic storytelling. His work as a marketing strategist and copywriter has driven over $6.8 million dollars in revenue to date.
Through our convo, Zak shows you exactly how he does it. He provides a ton of practical, down-to-earth tips and methods for writing better copy and getting to know your customers, in a human-centered, non-gross way.
So if you’ve ever wondered:
- How do I get people to buy from me?
