How To Write & Publish On A Regular Basis

How To Write & Publish On A Regular Basis

Welcome to part five of my five-part series on “finding your writing process.”

In the past few posts, we’ve covered:

Today, as the last entry in this series, I’ve got another free template for you!

It’s a remarkably simple way to plan and schedule your writing, stay consistent, and provide steady value to your readers.

If you want to start a blog, an email series, or any kind of thought leadership program, I highly recommend using this tool.

It’s called an editorial calendar. Here’s how to use it:

Step 1. Brainstorm your content ideas. (Use the “ideas” section of the spreadsheet for this.)

Step 2. Decide on the frequency of your communications (i.e. How often you will commit to publishing / communicating with your readers.)

Step 3. Schedule your publication dates accordingly. (For example, I schedule mine for every other Tuesday.)

Step 4. If your documents are saved in the cloud (e.g. google docs), link to your rough drafts in the “drafts” section of the spreadsheet. This way, you can keep track of all your drafts and ideas as you go so it’s all easy to access.

That’s it!

I’ve used this system for CEOs of major brands, for content marketing programs, for individual thought leaders, and for myself.

Before you get started, I will note that I firmly believe collaboration is at the heart of truly remarkable work.

So, if you want to launch a thought leadership program but need help doing it, I’m here for you.

In fact, I’ll be opening up one spot for my thought leadership program in October.

In this six-month program I work closely with you to develop, launch, and execute a strategic thought leadership program that gets your voice into the world in a powerful way.

Here’s what one of my clients has to say about the program:

Before working with Camille, I struggled to write consistently and turn my ideas into real thought leadership that would foster support for my growing non-profit.

With Camille's help, in just four email newsletters I generated over $1,000,000 worth of potential funds, which could translate to helping millions of kids.

Plus, dozens of respected athletes, business leaders and media professionals are commending me on my writing and ideas... and we're just getting warmed up.
